Since the top and body were glued up, the single cutaway body has been routed for pickups, switches and the control cavity on the back. We then cut the guitar to shape and perfectly carved the top. There is a lot of magic being discovered in these guitars...

The f-hole binding must be completed before any other routing or glue up can be done. This is a very time consuming operation and the ivoroid binding material can be difficult to work with at times...
