After
about 14 days of curing the nitro-thane finish,
Terry buffs the guitar into what will look like
polished glass..

The neck
is now permanently glued to it's partner, the
body...

neck joint has been hand fitted. Note that the neck
is firmly locked to the body even with no glue...

Terry
perfects the neck before the medium jumbo frets are
installed. TCM fretwork is among the best out
there...

the gorgeous one piece Korina on the back of the
double cut.

Since
the top and body were glued up, the double cutaway
body has been routed for pickups, switches and the
control cavity on the back. We then cut the guitar
to shape and perfectly carved the top. There is a
lot of magic being discovered in these guitars...

that the tone chamber is tuned properly...

the f-hole binding now complete, these choice maple
tops are ready to be glued on to the one piece
African limba bodies...

The
f-hole binding must be completed before any other
routing or glue up can be done. This is a very time
consuming operation and the ivoroid binding material
can be difficult to work with at times...
