I
will venture the opinion that the TCM Gemini, in
this particular form, has a lot of that airiness on
top and richness down below that I associate with a
truly good late 50’s LP Standard, with a notable bit
of the throatiness and punch of a really great 335
(but with an even response over the entire fretboard).
This is
necessarily only a rough description, using examples
that we are familiar with.I am quite sure that the
terms “bright”, “harsh” and “muddy” do not apply to
this, or any TCM built to date. |
